THE FIRST BOY I LOVED (What the Cover Looks Like)

Here it is. I really can't tell much about it. I do like seeing my name bigger than the title, though. If you look very, very closely, you'll see mention of the second book, THE MARINE, in the fine print.

Now I'm going back to bed. (Day 3 of what is euphemistically called The Stomach Flu -- or is it Day 4?) (sigh)

Thanks, Liz. I am feeling better. I hope you're well and sassy.

Fine. Feeling like quitting writing again, which in itself makes me laugh. I think I've been quitting ever since I started--along about fifth grade!

I'm a dedicated "quit-er" myself, Liz. I always have great reasons for it -- most of them not in my control. I guess it all goes back to what a writer friend once told me: Muses are easy to scare -- but hard to kill.
